From March 24 to 28, 2025, Abidjan hosted a strategic training workshop aimed at strengthening the capacities of stakeholders involved in the pilot agri-food processing projects under the NB-ITTAS initiative. This event is part of the effort to develop sustainable value chains across 11 African countries, including Benin, Guinea, Mali, Cameroon, and Burkina Faso.

Organized under the auspices of the NB-ITTAS project, the workshop brought together experts, entrepreneurs, and key stakeholders in the agri-food sector. The goal was to equip participants with the necessary tools and knowledge to maximize the impact of ongoing pilot projects and promote an industrialization model adapted to local realities.

The sessions covered key topics such as market access, agricultural product enhancement, technological innovation, and financing for processing initiatives. Through discussions and experience-sharing, participants strengthened their skills and developed concrete strategies for more efficient and sustainable agri-food processing.

With this workshop, the NB-ITTAS project reaffirms its commitment to fostering high-performing and resilient agri-food value chains, contributing to food security and job creation across Africa.
